The Accommodation
When we selected Scottorn House we were looking for a place where we could enjoy regular holidays. We wanted to create a tranquil retreat from which we can enjoy this wonderful area.
We want to relax and so we have a dishwasher and south facing patio area, where we can barbecue (charcoal is included in the price). The reception rooms are a lounge, with TV and DVD player, a room for board games with a music system, several games and plenty of books. The third reception room makes an attractive dining area.
We don't want to spend all day cooking, so the kitchen is functional with washing machine, microwave, fridge and cooker, but the house is less than a five minute walk from Safeways and the Filey Restaurants.
We want to pamper ourselves, so there is a shower room and bathroom with an almost endless supply of bath oils and fizzing salts. There are two double bedrooms, one twin room and a single room, all with quality furnishings and its own hand basin. There is also a bed settee in the downstairs games room. So we can sleep 7 or 9 people.
