York

Only one hour inland from Filey is York, the county capital.

In York are the Jorvik Viking experience, a splendid Norman castle, Medieval streets and Minster, the birthplace of Guy Fawkes and deathbed of Dick Turpin and the Rowntree's Chocolate factory.
